Scoring & Ties

All players must report to the scoring area (on patio or inside restaurant) without delay when their round is complete.

Rulings - Resolving Rules Issues During Round:

When a Rules Referee is not available, you may decide play two golf balls under rule 20.1c(3).  Before playing either ball, you should announce which ball’s score you want to use, you must finish the hole with both balls, and you must report the facts at scoring.

LOCAL RULES / CONDITIONS OF NOTE

Out of Bounds (OB)

OB is identified and defined by the course side edge at ground level of white stakes, boundary fence posts and the course side edge of the cart path behind hole 18 green (after the last red stake on the left side of green).

Preferred Lies

If your ball is in a bunker or in the general area cut to fairway height or less (meaning in fairway or fringe), you may mark, lift, clean and place your ball within one club-length of your ball/s original lie no closer to the hole.  You may not take free relief from the general area that is cut to more than fairway height (meaning “rough”).

Ground Under Repair (GUR)

GUR is the area from which optional free relief is available, is defined by white lines, colored stakes with rope or colored flags or by specific identification.  GUR includes areas of unusual damage including area of cart traffic or seasonal conditions such as muddy, wet or depressed in grass tire ruts.  Areas of bare dirt, brown grass, unprepared sand, rocky soi, tree stumps and roots are not GUR. If your ball, intended swing or intended stance is interfered with by animal holes and cast material, whether flattened or not, you may take free relief.

Penalty Areas:

Penalty areas may be identified by red or yellow stakes or red or yellow lines.  Penalty areas include water and dense vegetation, which exists where bushes, vines, trees and high grass grow closely together.  Areas consisting only of high grass or where trees and bushes are not closely together are not penalty areas. The penalty areas are defined (in order of priority) by (1) red/yellow lines; (2) mow lines or the edge of the grass, (3) where the ground falls to the water; or (4) the sight line at ground level between stakes.  If the other side of a penalty area is off the course, the penalty area extends to infinity. Cart paths or bridges inside the edge of penalty areas are part of the penalty areas.  Penalty areas with red/yellow stakes with green tips are No Play Zones (holes 13, 17 and 18) from which you may not play your ball.

Drop Zones

The following holes have optional dropping zones marked with white lines for relief from penalty areas:  Hole 13 – on greenside of penalty area in the general area in rough on right side; Hole 9 – front right side of green (drop within 3 club-lengths of “Dropping Area” sign; Hole 16 – on left and right sides of green; and Hole 17 – in front of red teeing area.

Immovable Obstructions (IO)

IOs include cart paths (dirt, gravel or paved) and adjacent worn areas, landscaped areas tied into cart paths, hole monuments, buildings, utility boxes, drain grates, pipes, logs (on log pedestals or on ground) in general area, boulders, stone bench, water fountains, and -  split rail fences

Local Rules

  1. If your ball is within two club-lengths of an IO (for example a sprinkler head), if the IO is within two club-lengths of the green and if your line of play is interfered with by the IO, you may take free relief.
  2. If you drop your ball using back on the line relief and your ball rolls forward but comes to rest within one club-length of where it first touched the course, you have taken relief properly.
  3. If your ball played from the green accidentally hits you, your club used for the stroke or an animal defined as a loose impediment (worms, insects and similar animals that can be easily removed), your stroke counts and your ball must be played as it lies.
  4. If you significantly damage your club during your round, if not from your abuse, you may replace the club during your round.

Girls 11-19:
Champion - 1 Star

Player Information - Age Divisions

A player’s age division is determined by his/her age during round two. A player can move up during the middle of the season. For example, if a player is 14 and starts the season in the 11-14 division, but then turns 15 during within the middle of the season will then play the remainder of the season from the 15-19 division. Points do not roll over to another division. Players can earn points in two age divisions.

In the event the Boys 10 and Under and/or Girls 10 and Under divisions have one player in the field, that player will be grouped with the rest of the 10U players, therefore boys and girls may be paired together and playing the same yardages.
